The
**Commercial & Contracts Manager** is responsible for the end-to-end management of customer contracts within the Customer Operations business unit.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of customer contracts and contract addendums according to all applicable internal processes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required
- Acting as the central point-of-contact for contract discrepancies, evaluation of contracts to ensure risks are assessed as well as maintaining oversight of metrics related to contract management oversight
- Defining and managing end-to-end processes
- Obtaining internal reviews and approvals for customer contracts and execute approved and finalised versions in a timely manner.
- Maintaining contracts and contract templates in the appropriate internal systems
- Managing contract negotiation/approval timelines/metrics and provide performance metrics
- Recommending opportunities for continuous improvement, training and operational excellence.
- Oversee continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure the highly efficient Contracting process

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance or Business
- Previous experience in a contract preparation and negotiation role within the building, contracting or power industry
- A demonstrated understanding of local requirements and applicable legislation
- Strong communications and influencing skills
- Ability to analyse complex information/data identifies and resolves problems.
- Proficient MS Office, web-based systems and database knowledge
- Proven ability to manage budgets
