MAC Energy Efficiency Group was founded on the belief that core training and compliance were critical to the success of any energy efficiency program. The team believes in ‘getting it right, from the start’ this philosophy is cornerstone to the business and the services it provides to clients. They are a holistic energy efficiency quality assurance business that offers customised training, coaching, consulting, certificate creation and auditing services. Due to recent expansion, the organisation is seeking to add a Compliance Officer to their existing team.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, analysing and organising energy efficient activity submissions, providing quality assurance services and procedures and managing customer data/activities to ensure compliance. It involves a low level of customer interactions and requires a high level of understanding in the State based energy efficiency Code and Regulations as well as a high level of data analysis skills.

Role responsibilities include:

- Providing advice and support to team members and on Energy Efficiency Code(s) requirements
- Reviewing, analysing and coordinating data and documentation submissions in accordance with best practice
- Conducting compliance checks on data and documentation submitted on installations to ensure high pass rates
- Ensuring product details, decommissioning and training logs are accurate and maintained in system and any corresponding check sheets
- Identifying and returning errors to installers/suppliers from desktop and field audits then follow up on corrections
- Managing version control of the latest calculation documents, amended jobs and follow archiving method with regards to older versions to meet contracted SLA requirements
- Following up with subcontractors on outstanding documents or submissions
- Coordinating field audits with the field auditor on jobs that fail desktop audits
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of submissions and reports each month
- Maintain knowledge of energy efficiency schemes and compliance standards.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience within the energy sector and knowledge of the relevant certificate schemes, coupled with:

- Previous experience within a compliance and quality assurance based role
- Exceptional communication skills including written and oral
- Resilient and persistent attitude to proactively follow up with stakeholders on a regular schedule
- Confidence in working with data and numbers, with an ability to seek ways to improve performance
- Comfort in completing prescriptive and repetitive tasks to set deadlines
