We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated **Environmental Assessment and Compliance Officer** to help shape the responsible development of South Australia's upstream energy resource and emerging hydrogen and renewable energy sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in environmental regulation to support sustainable industry practices that protect South Australia’s natural and social environments. **About the opportunity**: You will play a vital part in the environmental assessment, monitoring, and compliance oversight of energy resource operations regulated under the **Energy Resources Act 2000** and the **Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Act**. You will assess complex technical submissions, undertake field inspections, and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislative and environmental objectives.
