Are you ready to step into a vital leadership role where you’ll play a key part in supporting Australia’s Defence operations?**Ventia’s Joint Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC)** is seeking an experienced **Technical Supervisor** to drive the success of our day-to-day operations. **What You Will be Doing**:

- Allocate maintenance tasks to qualified employees, ensuring optimal team performance and skill matching
- Provide guidance to technical staff on procedures, ensuring all work meets compliance and quality standards
- Mentor and develop technical employees, identifying training needs and supporting their professional growth
- Oversee inspections and quality checks, ensuring all maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest standards
- Manage accurate documentation of all maintenance tasks in job records and the Maintenance Management System
- Investigate material defects, reporting issues promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion and addressing any delays or backlogs

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Certificate IV in Engineering
- Proven experience leading maintenance teams, managing activities, and performing technical investigations
- Expertise in quality audits and technical inspections to ensure standards are consistently met
- Strong ability to manage and coordinate maintenance planning and production outputs
- Hands-on experience with maintenance management software (e.g., MILIS, SAP, or similar systems)

**To be considered for this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1). You must also be an Australian citizen to meet this requirement.**
