**Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers, Brisbane and Gold Coast.** We have a family in Highland Park, Gold Coast requiring care for their 20 month old child.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced child care educator to provide dedicated care and support. The ideal Educator will be responsible for nurturing and guiding the development of the 20-month-old child. The Educator will possess a warm, patient, and engaging demeanor, creating a safe and caring environment.

The child has complex challenges and has appropriate NDIS Support eg. OT/Speech. The child is mobile and weighs approx.. 14 kg (lifting is required for nappy changes) The family is opening a new business and works from home, ideally when care is provided appropriate children’s music can be played.

**The days and hours are**

Wednesday to Friday 7.30am to 3.00/3.30pm

**The hourly rate is** $40.00 per hour

(There are 2 indoor cavoodles at the home they are friendly.)

**The successful applicant will have the following prerequisites**:

- **Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)**:

- **Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)**:

- **Blue Card**:

- **Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)**:

- **Public liability insurance (once successfully placed)**:

- **Medical Clearance**:

- **Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)**:

- **ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)**:

- **Photo ID**:

- **PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)**:

- **Be over the age of 18 years old.**:

- **Reliable car and drivers license**:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour
