Operations Manager, Geelong, $130K Salary

**Hays Recruitment are seeking an Operations Manager for Geelong. This Fleet company is responsible for innovative environmental solutions across Victoria.**

**Your new role**
The Operations Manager will monitor and direct the implementation of all contract and planned works; oversee services and track progress to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operations plan. You will provide leadership for the continual improvement of operations for the region ensuring business processes are effective and efficient and enable the highest possible levels of quality service and safety.
- Efficient delivery of all planned contract works and day to day reactive works for the region
- Responsibility for the financial performance of all jobs conducted within the region
- Monitor and assist Contract Managers manage contractual matters with the client
- With the maintenance/fleet team, ensure all assets are well maintained
- Working with the scheduling and business development teams, forward planning of all resources to meet future work commitments
- Ensure that the facilities within your control are well maintained and organized, for efficient execution of work.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience working an Operations Manager
- Business Qualification in an appropriate segment is desirable
- Excellent leadership skills, coupled with the ability to effectively manage, lead, and supervise a multidisciplinary team
- Advanced strategic thinking, be open to new perspectives and better ways to do things; and be creative, a visionary, and manage innovation well Experience
- Good understanding of how to track the financial performance of the jobs being completed.
- Demonstrate strong strategic planning and implementation abilities.
- Proactively participate in and support the development of strategic initiatives
- Exercise process ownership and leadership over the implementation of approved strategic initiatives across organisational operations
- Have well-developed conceptual and problem-solving skills, combined with an attention to detail and the ability to generate a range of creative solutions to address issues.
- Hold a Current Drivers licence
