As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on and motivated **Operations Manager** to help us take the next step.

**About the Role**

As the Operations Manager, you will play a central role in the smooth day-to-day running of our store, warehouse, and general operations. You’ll be responsible for leading a dedicated team, assisting in managing stock, organising delivery schedules, providing excellent customer service and keeping everything running efficiently — all while maintaining the high standards our customers have come to expect from Burnetts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily operations of the store, warehouse, and delivery services
- Lead and mentor a team across warehousing, customer service, and dispatch
- Ensure stock levels are accurate and well-managed, including assisting stocktakes
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment
- Coordinate deliveries and manage relationships with customers
- Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and workflow to meet performance targets
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
- Support the store manager and senior leadership with reporting and planning

**About You**
- Proven experience in operations, warehousing, or logistics management — preferably in a trade or retail environment but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Solid understanding of stock control, procurement, and distribution
- A practical, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of plumbing products or the building supplies industry is highly regarded but not necessary
