**Leonardo**, EssilorLuxottica's learning platform, offers expert-curated, customizable content designed to support employee and partner development. Since its launch, it has delivered over 5.3 million hours of education in up to 30 languages, becoming a key industry resource.

In 2023, Leonardo expanded its offerings and partnered with _Harvard Business Publishing_ to enhance leadership and management training.

We are seeking an experienced **Learning Management System** **Lead **to manage our inhouse virtual learning platform; Leonardo. You’ll collaborate with our Corporate Leonardo Team in Milan and ensure the development of impactful, engaging learning content and strategies. In this role, you will work closely with our leaders across our wholesale and retail in addition to our support office managers to align on training demands and coordinate the learning and training calendars.

As the **Leonardo Lead**, you will inspire and guide our teams to deliver exceptional service to EssilorLuxottica stakeholders, driving excellence in all learning and training initiatives.

**Requirements for Success**
- Collaborate with business leaders to define and deliver success criteria for learning and training programs
- Oversee, monitor and achieve key training performance indicators
- Manages project scope, budget, and timelines effectively
- Lead training initiatives by establishing standardised methods for delivery, evaluation, and reporting
- Ensures the team utilizes the latest digital tools and training techniques
- Aligns Leonardo training programs with business objectives in partnership with functional leaders; ensures timely execution and integration of projects.
- Collaborates with Corporate Leonardo Leaders to assess training needs and recommend solutions
- Partners with Education Managers to communicate training plans and co-design learning solutions
- Demonstrates strong planning and follow-up skills
- Guide our teams in gathering feedback from market leaders and learners to improve programs
- Communicates program design, status, and issues clearly with your stakeholders
- Identify and refine training approaches based on insights from program launches

**Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Learning, Training, or Retail Leadership
- 8+ years’ experience within the Retail Industry
- Digital training experience with LMS platforms
- Outstanding communication & ability to think strategically and creatively
- High level of energy and strong can-do attitude
- Excellent soft leadership skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically by analysing complex situations, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing long-term plans
- Proven project management and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency of Windows software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
