Human Resource Consultant

Coordinate the provision of accurate and timely advice and consultancy services to the department's management and staff, focussing on delivering effective HR solutions that support a high performing, flexible and constructive work environment.
- Coordinate and provide a range of generalised operational/transactional HR services to the Corporate Services business group.
- Collaborate with the managers and team members of HR Corporate to provide quality advice to executives, management, staff and stakeholders by monitoring, triaging, sourcing, and coordinating responses to a wide range of HR enquiries.
- Maintain sound knowledge of current HR legislation, awards, certified agreements, directives, policies and procedures to support the timely and evidencebased advice and service delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of best practice products, resources and information by undertaking research and data analysis to identify emerging trends, assess organisational risk and opportunity, and determine fit-for-purpose initiatives and solutions.
- Access HR information systems (e.g. Aurion, Employee Self Service [ESS], TADPOLE [time keeper], Power BI [data visualisation tool]) for reporting purposes, to undertake research and provide advice.
- Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes and other correspondence in relation to a range of human resources issues.
- Present and facilitate briefings and workshops for management and staff where required.
