**What you’ll be doing**:
Based out of our Brisbane Head Office, the Corporate Sales Manager - Optimisation role is to lead the delivery of the sales strategy for the Corporate Optimisation team through efficient processes and value-led corporate account management principles.

You will mentor and lead your team of highly motivated Corporate Account Managers (Optimisers) and work closely with Regional Corporate Sales Managers and the SME Sales Manager to optimise corporate account management activities within Virgin Australia’s overall B2B portfolio.

Other key responsibilities will include:

- Achieve sales budget and improve revenue growth and revenue quality in revenue and market share.
- Support the Sales strategy to drive improved market share for accounts within the Corporate Sales Optimisation portfolio’s.
- Lead and Coordinate sales process and technology projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Deliver positive commercial outcomes for the business.
- Engage in the crafting of a robust revenue development plan for your sales portfolio.
- Develop strong business relationships with key customers and stakeholders to facilitate to meet the needs of customers.
- Develop and execute a customer engagement plan (including support from manager and team).
- Build future growth in customer portfolios by recognising repeat conversion of business.
- Retain customers through active and productive account management.

**You’ll be great in this role if you have**:

- The ability to work with mínimal supervision and effectively prioritise.
- You will have strong commercial influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in negotiating in a competitive environment.
- You will possess excellent people skills and proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, business partners and customers.
- Sound knowledge of fares and ticketing and/or revenue management principles
- As an experienced leader, you will have the ability to coach develop and support internal stakeholders to achieve company objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning and development
