**The Role**
Reporting to the First Assistant Secretary (FAS), Policy, Pathways and Inclusion Division (PPID), the General Manager, Office of the Student Identifiers Registrar (OSIR), is a newly established role that will be responsible for managing the staff that assist the Student Identifiers Registrar (Registrar). These staff are employed under the Public Service Act 1999 (PS Act) and are provided by the Secretary of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) per section 45 of the Student Identifiers Act 2014. The GM, OSIR, will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of staff so they can assist the Registrar to fulfil the Registrar’s statutory functions but also to support staff to fulfil their own obligations under the PS Act and the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.

**The Opportunity**
This position is available to Ongoing Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and/or APS employees as a temporary transfer at level and/or a temporary performance (Acting) opportunity for a period of 12 months.
