Business Development Representative

We are seeking a dynamic **Business Development Representative** on full time basis to be empowered to grow profitable sales with existing customers and develop new business across the Campbells & Convenience business. You will be driven to achieve targeted business plans and sales revenue goals.

This role is based on the Gold Coast, Queensland and has direct reporting line to the **Regional Operations Manager.**

**What you’ll do**
- Deliver sales budget within the defined territory
- Maintain a proactive safety culture
- Execute the National and State Wholesale sales strategy to achieve set objectives
- Maintain effective relationships internally and externally to deliver core partnership strategies for the Wholesale business.
- Execution of a territory customer call plan in line with the Wholesale strategy, ensuring sales are captured in the most effective manner (e.g. web portal, telesales)
- Grow existing business through relationship management techniques and effective use of promotional campaigns, range reviews and new product development
- Regularly identify new opportunities in the territory to develop and actively gain profitable business to build route density
- Provide insights and news to targeted customer segments to assist in delivering value-added benefits to customers
- Collaborative and effective relationships with key support roles and contacts eg Customers Service and Store Operations teams to optimize service and sales opportunities

**What you’ll bring**
- At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG.
- Direct selling experience in-field, preferably within the FMCG industry
- Experience within Foodservice industry advantageous
- Sound negotiation skills to execute win-win outcome
- Experience working to deadlines and changing priorities
- Ability to anlayse and interpret internal and external data to develop sales strategies
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment
