**The opportunity**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable HSE professional to take on the permanent, part-time position of HSE Project Specialist. Reporting to the Head of HSE Systems and Governance, the key purpose of this role is to support the BSA Group Safety Team by planning and implementing key HSE initiatives and projects across BSA Group.
**This role is for 3 days a week**. If you are looking for enviable work/life balance, this is the role for you.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Development of project plans to manage multiple initiatives and programs of work across the BSA HSE team.
- Development, preparation and implementation of these initiatives and programs as aligned with the BSA Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Strategy. This includes the development of training packages to support implementation.
- Management and coordination of HSE projects for the team, including tracking projects through to closure e.g. HSE Safety Index, Stop for Safety day.
- Assist with driving the implementation of the HSE Strategy across the business.
- Development and ongoing management of Health and Wellbeing plan for BSA.
- Maintain the BSA Health and Wellbeing Hub.
- Maintain HSE reporting in Power BI and undertake regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development and/or review of HSE procedures and other documents.
- Assist/support in internal and/or external audit programs when required.
- Support, development and ongoing implementation of WHS communications for the HSE team across the business.
- Ensure all activities within the business comply with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
- Comply with the BSA Code of Conduct, company policies, process standards and practice standards.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the manager.
- Certificate IV WHS.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health, Safety & Environment Roles.
- Practical HSE operational experience.
- Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Skilled in managing and working on multiple projects and delivering on-time.
- High level of Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
