**What I Will Be Doing**:
As a **Support Worker** in Northcott’s Hornsby team, I will empower customers to live as independently and confidently as possible, supporting them to develop life skills, pursue study or work opportunities, and stay actively connected to their community.
- I will:_

- Support customers in their day-to-day life, helping them build confidence and independence.
- **Facilitate** engaging **group activities** such as art, music, drama, cooking or travel training.
- Facilitate with the **Work and Study Skills program.**
- Build strong, respectful relationships with customers and their families.
- Work collaboratively with customers who have intellectual disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities.
- Implement and review **Individual Program Plans**, ensuring customers are supported to achieve their personal goals.
- Empower support staff to communicate effectively with customers, using an individualised approach tailored to each person’s needs.
- Use my skills to promote inclusion, independence, and community participation.
- Be flexible to work on a **rotating roster**, typically from **9:00 am - 3:00 pm,** with extended hours on **Thursdays (until 6:45 pm)** and opportunities for **Friday night or Saturday shifts.**
