The Rapid Group are an Australian, family owned and operated group with a great reputation for providing professional transport services across Australia. We seek a Fleet Maintenance Scheduler who will support the workshop team to service and maintain our extensive range of trucks, trailers and other assets.

This role is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience and will provide you with access to an experienced, knowledgeable and supportive team of transport industry professionals.

**The Role**:
Reporting directly to the Fleet Maintenance Manager this role will play a pivotal part in providing support to the workshop team. Responsibilities include:

- Service administration duties; creating job cards, updating service data, reviewing repair requests and maintaining data integrity in our maintenance management software system through accurate data entry;
- Internal customer liaison with staff across multiple sites;
- Daily work planning and scheduling in line with accreditation and licensing criteria;
- Procurement of parts; price checking, raising and approving purchase orders, and returning parts for credit, and other tasks as required.

**You will possess**:

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills;
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work unsupervised and exercise initiative;
- A current drivers license.

Mechanical qualifications are not essential, however a general mechanical understanding would be beneficial. Previous experience in a role such as parts interpreter, parts or other inventory control, or workshop administration would also be favourable but is not a requirement as full training will be provided.
