**Your New Role**

In this pivotal role, you will lead the design process for our expanding range of innovative and eco-friendly lifestyle products. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you'll play a role in crafting the visual identity of our sustainable lifestyle products. Your responsibilities include overseeing the design process, from generating initial 2D and 3D drawings to creating a compelling narrative that captures the essence of each product. Working collaboratively with international suppliers, you will bring these concepts to life by managing the manufacturing of prototypes and selecting materials that align with our commitment to sustainability.

Your day-to-day activities will involve research of local and international markets to identify emerging trends and innovations. Leveraging your expertise in SolidWorks, CAD, KeyShot, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, you will translate conceptual designs into detailed plans for prototyping. Collaborating seamlessly with tooling engineers, you will navigate projects through to manufacturing, ensuring the delivery of products that not only meet high aesthetic standards but also adhere to relevant guidelines and regulations.

**Your Day to Day**
- Craft compelling solutions using great problem solving and conceptual thinking skills with the end user front of mind.
- Generating concept designs in CAD and then turn them into detailed CAD designs for prototyping.
- Collaboration with tooling engineers to move projects through to manufacture.
- Rendering 2D and 3D CAD models in KeyShot.
- Work SolidWorks and KeyShot to prepare renders and build instore layouts.
- Define ownable and elevated aesthetic solutions.
- Be responsible for the detail development of concepts through the product life cycle for a diverse range of product categories.
- Ensure product compliance with relevant guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
- Prepare 2D & 3D model files and manage production documentation.

**Your Skills**
- Industrial Design or Product Design Engineering Tertiary qualification.
- Excellent skills in SolidWorks, CAD, KeyShot, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Expert understanding of designing consumer products for cost-effective manufacturing.
- Commercial mindset with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Perseverance and resilience in delivering exceptional work.
- Ability to communicate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
