**You'll be responsible for**
- Support and execute the on time and high quality delivery of planned audits, assess business area under review, including key business risks and general control environment.
- Support and execute all aspects of audit engagements.
- Prepare high quality, value adding, internal audit reports with findings to be presented to Senior Management and the Chief Audit Executive.
- Build and maintain high quality relationships with business stakeholders and engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvements to internal audit effectiveness.
- Assist with the preparation of the Annual Internal Audit Plan and the Five-Year Audit Plan.
- Share responsibility for achievement of strategic objectives, including team engagement, audit quality and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory developments.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with relevant accreditations (e.g. / CA/CPA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
- Demonstrated relevant audit experience with exposure to assessment of risks and controls gained in a complex, insurance / financial services or major consulting organisation. Specific insurance audit experience will be highly regarded.
- Clear understanding of the three lines of defence model and of the strategic business context while looking at processes from a strategic point of view.
- Understanding of the IT, data and digital landscape and virtual processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
