**Our Client**
Global top 20 firm operating in 120 countries, offering a large number of service specialities from education to the energy sector.

**The Opportunity**
The Manager is responsible for providing valued support to Directors and Associate Directors, whilst supervising and completing audit assignments and reviewing work prior to Director review and sign off. This role will manage a team of people and work flow to ensure that work is allocated and reviewed effectively, and that team members are supported and developed appropriately.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Complete and review work on each section of audit file
- Identify audit and engagement risks and determine the appropriate audit strategy for each assignment
- Plan audit assignments ensuring the most cost-effective audit techniques are used
- Proactively engage with clients, displaying courtesy and professionalism
- Write articles and newsletters and present webinars and seminars as required
- Give direction to staff, clearly outlining their responsibilities, actions expected
- Manage performance, including conducting regular performance meetings and performance reviews

**Key Requirements**
- Have completed a related degree in accounting and further study, such as the Chartered Accountants Program
- Computer and technology savvy, able to demonstrate advanced skills in operating the software used across the firm, such as APS, MYOB, Xero, Caseware, U-track, Microsoft Office
- Excellent understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities, with the ability to pass this knowledge onto others
