We're seeking a dynamic Venue Manager for our fun and lively wine bar in Armadale, Melbourne.

Auterra Wine Bar has become a real hotspot in the south-east suburbs; with its snack only menu and ever-changing wine list. This has been cemented when the Good Food Guide awarded us our first hat in the most recent edition of the guide.

We’re seeking a dynamic Venue Manager for our fun and lively wine bar in Armadale, Melbourne

Auterra Wine Bar has become a real hotspot in the south-east suburbs; with its snack only menu and ever-changing wine list. This has been cemented when the Good Food Guide awarded us our first hat in the most recent edition of the guide.

This is a role ideally suited to an organised and driven professional who is looking to take a step forward in their career and make a mark on Melbourne’s ever evolving hospitality scene.

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Autonomous running of the wine bar
- Working alongside the group General Manager for business development and prospects.
- Maintaining daily standards and operational duties
- Planning and organisation of special events and functions
- Day to day operational and administrative duties
- Building long standing guest relationships
- Maintaining a polished and hospitable wine bar

We’re offering an opportunity as Venue Manager in a young, dynamic and very supportive team with the highest focus on wine and food quality. The role is also a great stepping stone for growth within the company. We have plans to expand the brand interstate and with future businesses on the horizon, there is so much room to grow as we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have similar previous experience, be capable of leading a small team with effective time management and communication, have a sound knowledge of wine and food, and organising/running of private events. Given that there is an element of admin involved, proficietncy with Word and Excel would be beneficial.
