We are seeking a responsible, organized and experienced professional Café manager.

**About the role**:
The Café Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of café operations to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for both staff and customers. This role includes managing daily operations, staff, inventory, and financial aspects to drive the café’s success and profitability.

Your duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following
- Oversee daily food and beverage sales, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
- Improve service delivery and customer interaction through staff training and strategy implementation.
- Recruit, train, and manage café staff, including creating schedules and addressing performance issues.
- Design and update the menu to align with customer preferences and seasonal trends while ensuring high standards.
- Manage inventory, track levels, place orders, and conduct audits to prevent shortages and waste.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure product quality.
- Monitor and manage the café’s budget, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Analyse financial data to enhance profitability, execute marketing promotions, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and addressing any issues.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, use feedback to improve the café experience, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.

**Requirements**:

- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve operational issues.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Creativity: Creative flair for menu planning, marketing, and improving the café’s appeal.
- Commercial Awareness: Demonstrates an understanding of industry trends and the ability to adapt business strategies accordingly.
- Record Management: Involves maintaining accurate financial records, budgeting, and managing vendor invoices.

Salary**:AUD 73150** per year plus superannuation

Pay: $73,150.00 - $77,368.08 per year
