Working closely with the Head of Marketing, the role of Communications Specialist is responsible for internal and external content production, and enhancing and protecting the organisation’s reputation through effective public, community, and media relations, corporate communications and other communications activities.
This role will collaborate with areas of the business to enhance our brand, assist in developing our personality and tone of voice and create written content (including storytelling) about the Bank and its activities. This communication will focus on content which aligns to our key target audiences and business objectives.
This role required exemplary communication skills and an ability to translate complicated concepts into easy to understand content.
Location: Hybrid - Head Office, Sydney and Flexible Working from Home (WFH) options
**The role**
- Communications - Supporting the communications and content strategy from a brand, members and product perspective.
- Public Relations - building networks with Australian press and stakeholders, preparation of market announcements, press releases and other promotional media, production of investment information, website content and online presence.
- Written and visual content - creation and review of various content including Annual Reports and publications, forms, website, social, eDMs, and multimedia.
- Ad hoc marketing tasks as required from time to time.
