**Remuneration**: AHP2 ($88,255 - $102,240 p.a. + 11.5% Super) / PO2 ($88,255 - $97,667 p.a. + 11.5% Super)
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a **Program Coordinator** to join the Placement Services unit on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Ensuring effective implementation and planning to placement programs including Next Steps, Guardianship Family Day Care (GFDC), Supported Independent Living Services (SILs) and Placement and Support Packages (PasP).
- Providing information to DCP staff regarding the placement programs and required referral information, and identifying placement matching criteria accordingly.
- Acting as the central contact and communication point with case workers regarding each Placement program in terms of placement matching, referrals and placement transitions.
- Developing procedural guidance to support the programs, working in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders.
**About You**
We are looking for a confident individual with the ability to influence, negotiate and effectively mediate conflicts and identify innovative solutions in order to achieve desired program outcomes.
To be successful in the role you will possess strong analytical skills as well as an excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of legislative frameworks and policies that guide social work and child protection practice is ideal.
You will have experience providing sound and practical advice on social work/child protection matters, as well as supporting and guiding team members to improve team performance.

**Essential**:
**AHP**: A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
**PO**: Appropriate degree qualification in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or related field.
