My client, an Enterprise Financial Services company requires a Lead SRE to build out an SRE practice and lead a team of Engineers. You will be working in the Enterprise Data Platform team.

To be successful in this role you will have most of the following
- Experience leading SRE teams in a fast-paced organisation regularly shipping new products and services
- Be disciplined and have follow through on your recommendations to optimise the enterprise data platform
- Manage JIRA and ability to set up a fit-for-purpose cadence of ceremonies to facilitate, to ensure the right outcomes are achieved
- Skills to influence diverse teams and in environments of diverse opinions and perspectives
- Experience at forecasting and planning at the sprint level to remediate risks and dependencies of delivery
- Deep experience in DevOps implementation and in evolving practices and ways of working through multi-disciplinary teams, business frameworks and culture
- Strong leadership skills to ensure SRE teams, vendors and other technology teams are motivated and engaged to deliver against a roadmap
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related technical field
- Experience working with large (enterprise) data platforms
- High understanding of non functional testing (Performance, Security, Cost Optimisation, Multitenancy)
- Highly proficient with Kubernetes and AWS
- Expert in Logging and Monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana), incorporating frameworks and instrumentations
