- 255198Peoplebank is exclusively recruiting an** SRE Lead **for a fast growth SaaS business who is the dominant leader within a large commercial market. They are stable and growing in a turbulent market.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering and working with an acclaimed leadership team you will lead and build a small team to architect and manage scalable, efficient and cost-effective AWS services, and help modernise DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Efficient AWS services are critical to the existing platform and will increase as new products are rolled out. They are a.NET Core environment running on Linux with a small number of Microsoft VM's. The current migration to.Net Core 6 will see a full transition to Linux.

Leading and mentoring two DevOps Engineers, you will own the AWS platform for the organisation and the leading voice in all platform architectural direction and choices. To be suitable for this role you will be an architect level expert in AWS services with experience in.Net Core environments and be confident reading and understanding C#. You will be an expert in all things SRE, DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes and GitOps, and a skilled teacher with the ability to influence best practice adoption across five willing and skilled scrum teams.

You will be working in a strong engineering culture, which has attracted engineers and technical leaders from the best dev shops. The culture is one of autonomy, trust and collaboration. We are looking for a seasoned and pragmatic Lead SRE who is a strong communicator and collaborator. There is a lot of work to do and multiple projects which are critical for the business.
