**About the role**

We are looking for a new Supervisor to join the Mermaid team to help manage our contract with one of Queensland's most prestigious schools.

You will be responsible for overseeing the high level of cleaning provided to this school. Lead and supervise your team whilst working in a hands-on role.

**Key Details**:

- Full time role
- Monday to Friday 01:30pm - 09:30pm
- School located in Arundel
- Must be fully vaccinated and have current Working with Children Check or willing to apply

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide and ensure a high standard of all cleaning in and around the school including periodicals
- Train and mentor staff onsite
- Develop a strong working relationship with the client’s representative as well as your Client Relationship Manager
- Manage OH&S compliance and periodical cleaning activities across the school
- Ensure budgets are managed in accordance with contract hours
- Manage the staffing rosters and ensure hours are recorded accurately

**Skills and experience**:

- Supervisory experience with the ability to train and lead a team (essential)
- Strong cleaning background
- Customer service/client focused
- Sound understanding of OHS in the workplace preferred
- Strong communication skills with a good command of English
- High attention to detail when cleaning

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
