**The role**:
Are you passionate about supporting older people and facilitating groups?
We have a fantastic part time opportunity to join the Social Residential team at our site located at Highercombe in Hope Valley. This part time role will see you working 54 hours a fortnight:
- Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm
- Friday, 10am to 3.30pm
With leadership support from our onsite Community Connector Leads and Event Planner the Group Planners will manage the logistics and facilitate new and existing groups to maximise customer participation
The roles play a significant role in delivering on our vision of good lives for older people.
**What you'll do**:
- Deliver social experiences in line with Good Lives (roles, real experiences, right relationships, reablement) and product specifications.
- Work within budgets.
- Assist with documentation and managing quality compliance
- Work with contractors, volunteers and students onsite providing support in social programs
- Lead and run groups and support positive group dynamics and customer engagement
**About You**

- Capacity to work flexibly in partnership with customers and others using a strong customer service approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with volunteers, staff and customers.
- Ability to hold positive mindsets and have high expectations for what is possible for customers to achieve.
- Coordination of small to medium sized events.
- Ability to work with, liaise and contribute to the team
- Use of MS Office Suite & customer record data bases
**You will need**:
- Certificate IV in Community Services/ Aged Care/ or working towards
- To care about supporting older people to live a Good Life.
- Flu & up to date COVID-19 vaccinations
**It would be helpful if you had**:
- A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
- Experience working with people at risk of social isolation and loneliness including those from a CALD/ ATSI background and people living with memory loss or Dementia
- An interest in or passion for arts and culture
- Current First Aid Certificate incl CPR
