Education Coordinator role within the Education Centre at ANMF

**Your new company**

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (Victorian Branch) is the largest union in Victoria and supports nurses, midwives and personal care workers, the latter predominantly in the private residential aged care sector. Our members are employed in a wide range of enterprises in urban, regional and community care locations in public and private health, community/primary healthcare and aged care sectors.

**Your new role**

The Education Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the materials developed for all non-accredited and accredited education reflect current professional standards and evidence-based practice. Further you will be tasked with;
- Consulting with Industry about current professional practice training gaps existing for nurses, midwives and personal care workers to ensure ANMF education provides ongoing benefit to members.
- In consultation with the centre manager, project manage and prioritise all education development in line with the Education Centre Strategic Plan.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of all education, demonstrating a sound knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Organise LMS content on ANMF’s Education Portal and ensure all learning materials being used are current, including updates of these to the LMS.

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be successful in this position you will have extensive experience in designing and developing training programs and materials. This will be supported by;
- Current registration as a nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or Diploma or higher qualification in adult education.
- Extensive knowledge and experience within the Victorian VET sector and in developing, training and assessing in VET sector beyond the Diploma of Nursing.
- Strong project management experience and ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Understanding of ANMAC and RTO Standards.
