We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP EDI Consultant to join our client. As an SAP EDI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expertise and support in SAP (EDI) processes, ensuring seamless integration and communication between various systems. The role can be based anywhere in Australia fully remote.

**Responsibilities**:
Business Analysis:

- Act as a liaison between the EDI team and the master data team, providing guidance and assistance in understanding tasks, documentation, and team responsibilities.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for EDI implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions.

Communication:

- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure clarity and conciseness in discussions, avoiding unnecessary details, and staying focused on the main objectives.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and address concerns.

Project Management:

- Develop and present clear project timelines, including tasks, sequences, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of EDI projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Technical Specifications:

- Create mapping specification documents between source systems (SAP S/4 and CPI) and target systems (OpenText).
- Collaborate with the technical team to document field logic and ensure accurate data mapping.
- Gain hands-on experience by setting up test environments and running end-to-end processes to enhance mapping specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Solid experience as an SAP EDI Consultant or a similar role, with a focus on business analysis and technical specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of EDI processes and standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
- Proficient in SAP systems (SAP S/4 beneficial) and integration platforms (CPI).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
