**About the role**

This position is responsible for the following:

- Oversee the preparation and upkeep of parks to meet required standards.
- Coordinate daily team operations and work routines to optimise time and resource use.
- Develop work programs, including rosters and resource allocation, ensuring projects stay within budget, meet deadlines, and comply with relevant standards.
- Identify and report turf issues, recommending improvements as needed.
- Manage roadside vegetation to maintain visibility and safety.
- Ensure traffic control plans are in place and implemented for all worksites.
- Monitor project delivery to ensure alignment with designs and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Plan and enforce safety measures across all worksites.
- Lead by example, promoting high standards, a strong work ethic, and proactive performance management.
- Foster a positive, motivated team culture through strong collaboration and communication.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing to workplace reform, service efficiency, and operational goals.

**About the person**
- Certificate III Horticulture (Greenkeeping) or equivalent
- Current WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card
- Current ‘C Class’ Drivers licence
- Chemical Users Certificate
- Traffic Control Certificate - Blue, Yellow and Red
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and recommend and implement improvements
- Proven ability to work in a self-directed manner, participate effectively as part of a team, follow instructions and work within a set timeframe
