We specialise in the hire, service and sales of air compressors, generators, lighting towers, message boards and traffic management systems as well as providing on-site diesel refuelling services. The company now has a position available for a hardworking and reliable Yard Person/Driver to join our busy Wollongong workshop team based in Port Kembla.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Day to day washing and preparation of hire equipment
- Keeping the yard clean and arranging equipment as needed
- Ensure hire returns are refuelled (if required) and entered on fuel log
- On site refuelling with the fuel trailer or fuel cell
- Exchanging equipment on sites
- Ad-hoc duties as required
- Processing of equipment returns and assist with off hires (refuel / hours used)
- Assist with equipment deliveries and collection when required

We are seeking a person with the following skills, experience and attributes:

- A valid forklift license is essential
- A valid HR license is required
- Has previously worked in a manufacturing, construction or industrial equipment environment
- Has a “CAN-DO” attitude
- Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics
- Is focused on providing the best service to our customers
- Attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical activities
- Can work overtime, including weekends when needed
- Has a stable work history and checkable work references

- Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Applicants must have a valid Covid-19 Certificate

**Experience**:

- Delivery Driver: 2 years (preferred)
- Yard Person: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (preferred)
- Manual Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
