To continue our success an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced **Principal Environmental Consultant** to join our team in Australia. ***In this role you will be able to -**
- Lead and manage a team of environmental consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality environmental solutions and services
- Provide expert guidance and strategic direction to clients on environmental issues, regulations, and compliance
- Conduct thorough environmental assessments, impact studies, and audits to identify potential risks and recommend effective mitigation measures
- Develop and implement sustainable environmental management plans and strategies
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders
- Stay updated with current environmental trends, policies, and regulations to ensure compliance and inform decision-making
- Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering their growth and expertise
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering innovative and cost-effective environmental solutions

**Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills -**
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience (minimum of 8 years) in environmental consulting, with a focus on managing complex projects
- Demonstrated expertise in environmental impact assessments, risk management, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Australian environmental legislation, policies, and standards
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Leadership qualities, with experience in managing and motivating teams
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Practitioner) will be highly regarded
