**The Role**

As a **Principal Environmental Advisor**, you will take the lead in developing and implementing environmental management strategies. Your expertise will guide their mining operations towards minimizing environmental impact and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Here are some key responsibilities:
**Environmental Planning**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into all stages of mining operations. Develop comprehensive environmental management plans that address potential risks and provide sustainable solutions.

**Regulatory Compliance**: Stay up to date with environmental regulations and ensure their operations adhere to all relevant standards. Monitor permits, licenses, and reporting requirements, facilitating audits and inspections as necessary.

**Impact Assessment**: Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation measures. Work closely with stakeholders, including local communities and regulatory bodies, to address concerns and ensure transparency.

**The Requirements**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in environmental management, particularly within the mining industry.

- Strong analytical skills to assess environmental risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
