**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director of Finance We are currently recruiting for a **Full Time Finance Officer** to enhance our existing Finance team.

**Key accountabilities will include**:

- Record and maintain the Accounts Payable ledger, update supplier records in the Finance systems, and prepare appropriate reports as and when required.
- Administer payment remittance advices.
- Working cohesively with offshore Shared Service Centre to ensure accuracy & efficiency of the finance functions.
- Audit the day-to-day operation of all Front Office, Food and Beverage outlets, Kitchen & Purchasing department.
- Assist with End of Month processes and external and Internal Audit preparation
- Monitoring of adherence to various internal controls and policy & procedures
- Assist in any other tasks as required by the Hotel Accountant and/or Director of Finance.

**Qualifications and requirements for the role**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Accounting
- Proficiency in Excel
- Prior exposure to Birchstreet highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivation for personal career development
- Ability to work Weekends and Public Holidays when required for End of Month processing
