**The Role**

We are seeking a **hands-on General Manager** who combines sharp business acumen with deep marketing expertise. This role is both strategic and operational - ideal for someone who can step into the details when needed while also driving long-term growth for our agency.

The GM will report directly to the **Managing Director** and serve as the public face of the group, representing us at industry events, driving business development, and building senior-level client and partner relationships. Internally, they will lead with empathy and accountability—hiring, mentoring, and building a culture of performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Leadership & Operations**
- Oversee daily operations (with the help of other senior team members)
- Drive alignment across teams, ensuring consistent service excellence.
- Own budgets, reporting, and performance tracking

**Marketing & Strategy**
- Bring hands-on marketing expertise to guide campaigns, client strategy, and innovation.
- Ensure we remain ahead of industry and competitive trends.
- Balance immediate results with long-term growth positioning.

**Business Development & Public Presence**
- Act as spokesperson at events, panels, and key client meetings.
- Lead new business initiatives and manage executive-level relationships.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director on strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities.

**People & Culture**
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top marketing and operational talent.
- Build a culture of accountability, support, and high performance.
- Develop growth pathways and training to elevate team capability.

**Technology & Innovation**
- Stay fluent in the tools, platforms, and technologies driving modern marketing.
- Leverage AI, automation, and analytics to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
- Champion adoption of new technology across subsidiaries to maintain competitive edge.

**Requirements**:

- **Proven Marketing Experience** - at least 5+ years in marketing, with deep understanding of strategy, creative, and execution.
- **Leadership Skills** - successful track record managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- **Business Development Ability** - confident speaker, strong communicator, effective relationship-builder.
- **Tech-Savviness** - comfortable with modern marketing tech stacks, AI tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- **Hands-on operator** who can step into details when needed.
- Strong **financial** and **commercial** **acumen**.

**What We Offer**
- $130-180k annual package, depending on experience.
