**Due to the nature of this role it is a requirement that the applicant be an Australian Citizen.**
This position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the functions. The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support.
The position is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and may be required to represent and negotiate on behalf of the Agency to advance the Agency's interests across a range of forums.
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
- Leading the Agency's Asset Management team, delivering essential ICT hardware services to the Agency.
- Work collaboratively with third party vendors, investigating new service offerings, asset recovery and repair approaches.
- Contributing to the design and implementation of an operating model that reflects new ways of working.
- Designing, building, deploying, and supporting the Agency's hardware fleet, while also implementing technical change management activities.
- Build capability in the team through coaching, performance feedback, conflict resolution and career development opportunities.
- Developing and improving Asset Reporting, forecasting, and warehousing tools, practices and procedures.
- Developing and maintaining high quality records including but not limited to Service Desk interactions, technical designs, operating procedures, and reports.
- Researching new products to enhance the Agency's technical services.
**Essential Criteria**
- Demonstrated 5 years' experience leading teams to deliver ICT services through ICT management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Demonstrated experience with ICT Asset Management, Configuration Management and warehousing processes.
- Demonstrated experience in each of the following areas: freight forwarding, logistics, inventory administration, purchasing or supply chain administration.
- Demonstrated a strong commitment to meeting agreed work targets and standards.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems.
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency.
