To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a** Raw Materials Lab Technician** at our Regency Park site.
**Responsibilities**:
Key Responsibilies:
- Ensure all Raw Material deliveries are received and audited in a timely manner, physically as well as in SAP system
- Reviewing and auditing important Food safety documents.
- Maintaining and improving quality and food safety systems by performing analytical testing, analytical instrument calibration and maintenance
- Training and coaching the site team in quality processes and testing
- Conducting internal audits, generating and analysing reports and support with customer complaints and investigations
- Chemical preparation handling
- Ensure compliance with Hold and Abort systems
- Comply with site GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Policy to ensure quality and food safety of products manufactured comply to specification
Qualifications:
**About you**:
- Qualifications in Science (Chemistry) or Food Science or related discipline (Preferable)
- Previous laboratory experience in similar manufacturing environment (Essential)
- High level of technical skills in the areas of instrumentation and/or chemistry & mechanical reasoning
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High levels of self-management and initiative with the ability to plan and prioritise, along with set and achieve targets
