About the Role We're on the lookout for Experienced & Trainee Soil & Concrete Testing Technicians to join our Sunshine Coast team. This hands-on role is laboratory and field based and will work on major projects throughout the Sunshine Coast.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Testing Soil and concrete, in the lab and out in the field.
  • Preparing clear, accurate records and reports.
  • Getting hands-on at construction sites—manual work, plenty of action.
  • Providing top-notch service to our construction clients.

  • Trainees: $20 – $27 per hour (starting at $20 for trainees aged 18 years, with the pay rate increasing by age and trainee classification, in line with the Award).
  • Junior trainees (under 21) are paid at the applicable Award junior rate, while adult trainees receive $27/hr.
  • Experienced CMT Technicians pay rate negotiable

What You'll Need to Succeed;

  • Soil / Concrete Testing field experience desirable
  • A good team attitude, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic.
  • A Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques (advantageous)
  • A current driver's licence and unrestricted Australian working rights.
  • Nuclear gauge licence -  (advantageous)
  • You will need current, long-term work rights to work in Australia.
