The Group Financial Reporting Manager is a key leader within the Finance portfolio. This position oversees the financial reporting and taxation teams, and is accountable for the integrity of Group financial reporting, key accounting estimates and judgements, the taxation consequences of the consolidated group, and delivering a robust control environment.

Other responsibilities include:

- Producing interim and year-end financial reporting
- Providing direction, training, and purpose to the members of the Finance team, empowering them to reach their full potential
- Managing the external audit process, and engagement with other external stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Preparing and delivering presentations at the Committee level
- Ensuring all tax obligations are met
- Identifying and addressing key tax risks and opportunities
- Reviewing and managing the key responsibilities of the periodic financial close process
- Implementing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and frameworks to deliver robust financial control outcomes for an ASX listed group
- Managing the inventory accounting process and critically reviewing the inventory operational and accounting methodologies
- Providing financial oversight of group subsidiaries and supporting their finance teams in financial control, planning and reporting
- Supporting commercial decision making through the provision of quality financial advice
- Providing technical accounting support for the wider finance team and the business

About you:

- Chartered Accountant or CPA qualified
- A demonstrated leader in financial accounting or chartered roles
- Strong technical accounting skills gained in an ASX listed or large corporate environment, audit or technical accounting role experience beneficial
- Experience leading or working with a taxation function and tax accounting matters
- Strong presentation skills and experience conveying complex financial matters to a variety of senior audiences
