We are growing here at Black Star Pastry, and we are on the lookout for a people focused Supervisor to support our Newtown Store Manager.

You will be coached and mentored to assisting the Store Manager lead the team and manage all areas of the store, including overseeing employee performance and the customer experience.

**Remuneration**
- $65,100 + Superannuation ($32.94 p/h)

**Roster**
- Shifts range from 7am-5pm
- You will be Rostered 38 hours a week - very little to no O/T
- We operate 7 days a week

**About You**
- 2-3 years hospitality experience
- Authentic, bubbly and energetic personality
- Open and willing to learn
- You love to lead by example and pass on your knowledge and experience
- Passionate about the customer experience and product quality
- Has initiative and shows great team work
- Great problem solving skills
- Strong, clear communication skills
- Love of cake a bonus

**Main Responsibilities**
- Ensure our customers have a great experience
- Ensure BSP quality and consistency standards are upheld
- Oversee the smooth service and operation of the store
- Assist and support the Store Manager in ordering, management of the team and maintenance of the store

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with stores across Sydney and our innovative new store at Chadstone.

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
