Café Supervisor

Offside Newtown is seeking an experienced, reliable and passionate Café Supervisor / Barista to join our team. We are a small, team focussed café which value a work life balance. We do not open Public Holidays and we break over the Christmas / New Year period. We all work closely together therefore a positive, high-energy attitude is a must. We pride ourselves on being a friendly place to work and we value our staff.

Applicants who may be interested in this position must be willing to work one weekend day, have experience as a Barista and in the cafe industry, and be an all-round team player with a can-do attitude.

**About you**
- Assisting with the overseeing and supervising day to day operations
- Ensuring all staff are trained in accordance with Offside Newtown specifications
- Ability to connect with customers and provide an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated capability to multi-task - your organisational skills will be a strength
- Motivated and positive team player
- Strong communication skills

- Passionate about the customer experience and product quality
- Adjust and correct machine and grinder settings
- Have experience making all types of espresso coffee
- Produce consistent, high-quality coffee
- Deal with daily opening and closing of the coffee machine
- Supervise daily operations
- Work autonomously and as part of a team
- Have excellent customer service
