About the Role
As Capability Lead, you’ll help define what great looks like for our technology functions. This is not a coaching role—it’s a strategic, analytical role focused on defining best practice, building frameworks, and enabling tech leaders to deliver against those models. You’ll partner with cross-functional leaders to assess current maturity, build visualised pathways to uplift, and establish clear capability targets aligned to GFS’s future strategy.
- Research and define capability frameworks across domains like engineering, data, and architecture
- Build and baseline current-state maturity assessments with measurable progress pathways
- Create visual models to communicate capability uplift goals and progress
- Collaborate with technology leaders to embed frameworks and drive accountability
- Bring clarity to grey areas—creating scalable structure from ambiguity

Skills & Experience
- Strong background in strategy, consulting, or capability frameworks
- Skilled in data analysis, visualisation, and maturity modelling
- Familiar with Lean, Six Sigma, CMMI, or related frameworks
- Experience building and implementing capability roadmaps across tech domains
- High-level stakeholder engagement and influence
- Project management experience highly regarded
- Structured thinker with a delivery mindset
