As a Rosters and Operations Coordinator, you will have responsibility for various functions related to the operational management and support of junior medical staff within an allocated portfolio. Classification for this position will be a HS3 ($74,448.00 base salary per annum). **About You** To be successful in this role, you will need: - A "Can-Do" positive attitude to helping others (customers and colleagues) - Outstanding customer service skills - Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail - The ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently and effectively - To be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot spontaneously without prompting - Have high level computer skills - Knowledge of rostering practices and principles We are willing to train the 'right person' with appropriate transferable skills, so prior experience in medical workforce or the healthcare sector, although advantageous, is not a mandatory requirement. **About the Department** The Medical Workforce Unit (MWU) is a central specialised service providing strategic oversight and governance, as well as operational support for all matters pertaining to the medical workforce including workforce planning, recruitment and credentialing, employment and on-boarding, and the management and rostering of medical staff. **About Western Health** Our workforce of over 11,000 employees are driven by our values of ‘Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety’ (CARES).
