Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation. Food insecurity is a growing problem, requiring a huge, coordinated response. On any given day in Australia, more than half a million households are struggling to put food on the table. Last year, Foodbank sourced the equivalent of 82 million meals for their 2,950 charity partners, providing food relief to more than a million people each month. Foodbank not only plays a lead role in fighting hunger, but also a vitally important role in tackling Australia’s $36.6 billion food waste problem and helping the environment.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to General Manager, Strategic Partnerships, as the National Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for growing and nurturing relationships with a diverse and thriving portfolio of existing corporate partners, including high-profile national partners.
There is extensive opportunity in this role to develop these partnerships and generate further income with corporate organisations across Australia that want to make an impact through a variety of mutually beneficial avenues.
We are searching for a passionate, bright, and driven relationship specialist with proven success in growing and nurturing sustainable long-term and evolving partnerships.
**Responsibilities**:
- Account manage and develop new opportunities for support with a portfolio of existing partners to increase their involvement with Foodbank Australia, and to further serve communities in need.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with partners and deliver innovative and sustainable partnership outcomes across a variety of channels that include work place giving, volunteering, grants, sponsorships, partner events and cause-related marketing campaigns.
- Develop presentations, pitches, proposals, and submissions to grow the continued development of current partnerships while also scoping and developing new opportunities.
- Ensure that corporate partnership revenue targets are met and exceeded, by inspiring, innovating and delivering first-class experiences for all committed partners and prospective partners
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the wider Foodbank Marketing & Fundraising Team (within Foodbank State and Territory locations).
- Collaborate strongly with all internal teams to ensure a high-touch commitment to every partner throughout the development of their donor journey.
**Essential criteria**:
- Proven success actively evolving corporate partnerships to ensure sustainability and diversified growth in the relationship to meet mutual partnership goals in the corporate or NFP sectors.
- Passionate about developing truly engaging business partnerships that are multi-layered, meaningful and impactful.
- Success in business development and partnership growth, being target driven and goal oriented.
- Strong strategic research, pitch, and presentation skills with a creative flair for developing innovative partnerships concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in order to effectively communicate to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Project management skills, including demonstrated ability to plan, implement, review and achieve project goals and objectives.
- Ability to innovate, design and implement strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
- A genuine interest to make significant impact to improve the lives of Australians in need.
