**About the Role**

In this role, you will provide administrative support to our Day Surgery Unit and Bay Ward. The Bay Ward is a 30-bed surgical ward catering for general surgery, plastic surgery and urology. It is a fast-paced environment working with a great team of staff.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and enjoys being part of a busy ward. The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of admissions and discharges is a key skill needed for this role. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, allied health, administrators and support services staff.

You will also bring:

- Proven Experience in a customer-facing hospital administration role is essential to this role.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience with Patient Management Systems will be highly regarded.

**Remuneration**

Remuneration will be based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Beleura Private Hospital is a 203 bed fully accredited private hospital located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, about one hour south-east of Melbourne in the seaside town of Mornington. **Requirements**:
