Melbourne, AUCYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C) has been contracted to design and build the tunnels and stations for the Metro Tunnel Project.

CYP D&C brings together three of Australia's leading construction partners John Holland, Lendlease, and Bouygues Construction.

The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne’s busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden (to be renamed North Melbourne), Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop.

We are now recruiting for a Plant Coordinator to manage all plant onboarding and regular ongoing maintenance requirements for the project and our subcontractors.

**Your responsibilities will include but be limited to**;
- Provide support to ensure all owned plant & equipment is maintained to comply with project and Australian Safety Standards.
- Plan and coordinate a MEX Maintenance planning system to improve plant reliability.
- Maintain the maintenance program using MEX database by promptly generating & issuing work orders to Mechanical or Electrical Supervisors for action.
- Ensure progress of work orders are followed up on and closed out in a timely manner.
- Collate & close out completed work orders.
- Enter all Breakdown & impromptu service data as Post Entry work orders.
- Ensure that maintenance works carried out by contractors are documented correctly with reports.
- Assist the team with Contractor Management; organising contractors coming into the venue and ensuring appropriate paperwork/certificates are acquired and renewals followed up as required
- Raise purchase orders for invoices for service and supplies as required by the Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors.
- Maintain the Asset Register and facilitate asset stocktake as required.
- Generalised administration for the Mechanical team including and not limited to file management and document control.
- Order & maintain Plant Pre-Start Book Inventory, as required.

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**;
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar administration role, in a similar environment
- Experience in MEX Maintenance System (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and a capacity for lateral thinking
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, as part of a larger team environment
