Are you a passionate and qualified music teacher looking for a short-term opportunity to inspire young musicians? We’re seeking a **Secondary Music Teacher** to join our vibrant College community for **Term 4, 2025**, teaching students in **Years 7 and 8**.

This **0.2 FTE fixed-term role** is spread across **three days per week**and **6**classes, allowing for meaningful engagement with students while maintaining flexibility. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, values-driven environment and enjoys delivering engaging, student-centred music education. Supply work at the colleges may also be offered.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Teach classroom music to students in Years 7 & 8, fostering creativity and musical development.
- Plan and implement effective learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress through written reports and parent communication.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student wellbeing.
- Contribute to the College’s co-curricular music program and special events where applicable.
- Support the Christian ethos and values of our Uniting Church College.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- A degree in Education and tertiary qualifications in Music.
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Experience teaching music in secondary settings, ideally with vocal education expertise.
- Familiarity with the Kodály method is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A flexible, student-focused approach to teaching and learning.
- A commitment to professional growth and curriculum development.
