Piano Teacher

We are seeking a Piano Teacher to join our Music School.

Vincent Music is based in a great central location in inner city Brisbane.

We have 2 days to fill to replace an outgoing piano teacher on Tuesdays 3pm-6pm and also Wednesdays 3pm-6pm. There is also scope to work other days if you wish.

To be successful in the Role you must:

• Have a passion for teaching
• Be available to work both Tuesday and Wednesday 3pm - 6pm
• Be located in Brisbane
• Be ok with doing "non - teaching" work if a shift is not full with students. This will include lesson planning and media creating and posting work
• Be willing to take group lessons of small classes of up to 4 students at a time when needed
• Be a current member of a music teaching association e.g. MTAQ or have relevant tertiary qualifications in teaching your or your instrument performance or undertaking appropriate undergraduate degree
• Have at least 1 year experience teaching students
• Hold a Current Blue Card or willing to obtain one
• Have your own ABN
• Have Public Liability Insurance or willing to obtain it
• Be willing to commit to 10 weeks teaching each term

Job Types: Part-time, Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $41.00 – $51.00 per hour

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
