The Star Gold Coast are currently seeking a passionate hospitality leader to join our Events team as an **Event Services Logistics Manager** In this role you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Logistics team to ensure a safe and efficient setup and bump out for all Events held across the property.

**What will my day look like?**
- Work with the Event Planning and Event Operations team to ensure all High-Risk activities, staff and contractors comply with QLD Government & WHS requirements
- Manage all in and outbound freight and deliveries within Events Services
- Scheduling of the Logistics team so that labour needs will meet the client’s needs, maximise efficiency
- Manage the logistic team to ensure all room setups and breakdowns are completed in an efficient and timely manner
- Liaise with the Event Centre Audio Visual Team on technical requirements such as staging, AV positions, and other AV activations
- Manage the Event facilities BOH areas within the Event Centre
- Maintain stock inventory and ensure all equipment is stored securely

**What are we looking for?**
- Extensive leadership experience in event or conference services
- Forklift License
- Exceptional communication skills
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and delegate while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanour
- High degree of computer skills
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
- Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships and manage and drive change
- Strong knowledge of food service, event set-ups and event equipment requirements
