**About the opportunity**
We have an opportunity for an experienced Injury Management Officer to join the Safety & Wellbeing Team. The role supports both staff and volunteer injury management functions. As a part of this role you will be implementing our injury management program, coordinate the return to work function and workers compensation claim management.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a current Return to Work Coordinator Certificate in accordance with SIRA requirements.
- Be able to demonstrate your working knowledge of the principal 1987 workers Compensation Act and Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998.
- Have experience in a Return to Work Coordinator role and have sound knowledge of injury management and rehabilitation principles.
- Be proficient in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, internal and external.
- Have strong communication, collaboration & consultation skills
- Posses the ability to plan, organise & prioritise work to meet the changing needs and work demands of an emergency service organisation
- Have demonstrated experience using an injury and claims management system (Solv experience highly regarded).
