Terra Mining are a dynamic leader in Western Australia's mining sector, which is rapidly expanding its portfolio of projects across the region.

As we embark on new ventures and continue to grow, we have achieved the role as the primary mine operator at Extension Hill, situated 270 km southeast of Geraldton.

The remarkable achievements at this site so far have sparked an increase in our operational demands, with our site team now wanting to invite experienced **HSET Advisor** to become a vital part of the Terra Team.

**About The Position**

Reporting to the HSET Superintendent, this role is responsible for supporting the project to successfully implement HSE management system and programs.

The primary focus of this role is to support the design, development and delivery of training programs to build skills and competencies of Mine Operations employees to safely and effectively perform tasks associated with their roles.

Their day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Promoting a safety culture through coaching and mentoring
- Developing and implementing safety procedures
- Coordinating and delivering site-based inductions
- Participating in workplace incident investigations
- Coordinating and conducting workplace safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Assisting in delivering on our site safety management plans

**What we are seeking**

A Safety Training professional who values safety first in everything they do, including looking out for their teammates.
- Tertiary qualifications in OHS / WHS
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Experience working in a surface mining environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Certification in Workplace Auditing and Injury Management/Rehabilitation experience is desirable but not essential.

You must have a right to work in Australia, be able to pass a medical assessment (including a drug and alcohol screen) and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance issued within the last twelve months.
